50% of Spain’s energy comes from the wind and this is evident in the number of wind turbines we have seen on our walks. You can see them in the background of this picture of the roadside cross. The Flying Dutchman is making us all dinner in the converted school house albergue we are staying in tonight. I have offered to finance and also to eat this dinner. This is my contribution.

Tomorrow I will mark the halfway point on my camino. I cannot believe I have walked almost half way to Santiago, close to 400 km. And I still cannot get over the wildflowers.
